Meet the team behind the research at Shanlin Ke Lab.
Shanlin Ke’s research focuses on the intersection of cancer, microbiota, and immunology. His work investigates microbial communities in cancer progression, the immune response to these microbes, and how microbiota can be leveraged for therapeutic applications. Shanlin's expertise includes microbial metagenomics, host-microbe interactions, cancer immunology, and computational analysis of microbial data.
Jack Huang is a second-year student majoring in Chemistry at The Ohio State University. His research interests include chemistry and biology.
Ruoxi Yang earned a master’s degree in Biostatistics from New York University. Her research focuses on microbiome and multi-omics data analysis, genetics, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with a particular interest in their applications to cancer research.
I am currently a first-year student at The Ohio State University majoring in Computer Science. My academic interests are programming, AI, and data analysis to solve real world problems. I want to learn more about microbiology and look forward to contributing my efforts to the team.
I am a final semester MS student in the Nutrition Science program at OSU. I have strong expertise in statistics, data analysis, and data management, supported by advanced coursework.
